Big mahalo to Kumu Lilinoe Sterling and Poʻo Kumu Keoki Fraser who (unlike the Lanikai Community Association that would have levied an exorbitant fee for our use of its park pavilion), allowed us to meet without charge at their Kaʻōhao School facility. It provided a perfect setting for our year-end get together and a flood of memories for the two Kaʻōhao alumni of the then Lanikai Elementary who are currently our club's president (Kapalai de Silva) and VP (Kalani Kaʻanāʻanā). The newly elected/re-elected members of our board: 2nd VP Kīhei de Silva, Treasurer ʻIlima Kaʻanehe, and Directors Nola Faria, Kaʻolu Luning, and Kū'ehu Seto-Myers. Huge-kine hugs, as well, to "termed-out" director Pualani Steele who will continue as our fundraising chairperson.
